Consecration to Jesus through Mary

A 33 Day retreat of entrustment to Jesus through the Blessed Mother of ourselves and all we have. The retreat uses the book Child Consecration: To Jesus through Mary—Following in the Spirit of St. Thérèse, the Little Flower.

Retreat One

A Soul Prepared Through Suffering

A forty day retreat which allows a soul to see that suffering is a gift and treasure of grace. For it was God who chose suffering to show his ultimate love for us. As John revealed, “For greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friend” (Jn 15:13).

Retreat Two

Counsel

A Journey to Discover One’s Vocation and Mission. This fifty day journey takes a soul “into the deep”. It requires passage through three phases: surrender, vocation pursuit and mission. Release of this retreat is forthcoming.

Retreat Three

Why Make These Journeys?

These retreats build one upon the other. First we give all we have to Christ through Our Blessed Mother by making a Consecration. Our Blessed Mother in her perfect humility never forces her help on anyone. This Consecration is the request we make for her maternal protection and care. Wondering why would you want to give yourself and all you have to Christ through Mary. This 33 day journey answers these questions so that at the end one can make this grace filled choice of Consecration.

It is with this foundation we move forward. In the prior retreat we have sought the help of Mary and Our Lord. Now we in turn are ready to offer our help. Christ allows us to unite our suffering with His suffering. How does one actually do this and what is achieved. Learn all this and more in this 40 day retreat.

The third journey prepares you to discern your mission. Given that our mission is often woven tightly to the cross the prior retreat is helpful to secure one’s footing as the climb begins to meet one’s mission. The retreat is broken into three phases: surrender, vocation, and mission. The Counsel retreat culminates in a 9 day novena to the Holy Spirit asking for the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
